Jagged Little Pill | Alanis Style Screlting

I have been seeing Yes And! [and their select special guests] perform Cover to Cover concerts at Hardywood Brewery for years now. I always rocked, jammed, and watched in awe and thought "Man... I want to be up there with them."

GUESS WHAT. I had the absolute pleasure of being asked to burn bras [figuratively] and screlt my blues away in the Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill cover to cover concert! Over 500 people came to rock out with us, the brewery was absolutely buzzing, and I'd be lying if I said this wasn't some of the most fun and fulfilling vocal work I've ever done in my life. Singing with these other vocalist, feeling the power of some of the best musicians I know behind me, seeing a sea of bodies rock out and go on a journey of pure nostalgia- it was all so incredible and dream-like. Singing outside the walls of musical theatre too, was something I had no idea I longed for so much. I really look forward to doing more of this raw vocal work.
